I had TWO of those stupid floating ads on my screen at once yesterday...but it only happens on my home computer?

Had one for the first time, today. Not cool.

I thought I had a malware problem of some sorts at first. After seeing this thread I guess it's some new ads.

make sure its updated and you have your settings set. I have used FF almost since the beginning and before that Netscape with maybe a little IE in between lol. Bout the worst i ever get on here is the little alert thingie that tells me a popup was blocked although i do see that pretty regularly. My FF even blocks a good part of the sidebar adds, all i see is a blank box with a small icon in the middle . . . . shhhhhh lol.

use Chrome. problem solved. I used to use Firefox and still do for anything that needs Flash (I keep it disabled in chrome because it makes it so much faster). lately, Firefox is turning into IE 2.0 because it's getting so bloated.

Use Safari and problems seem to go away.

I have NEVER had a pop up ad on OSO and have been using only Safari for 2 years now.
