Default Boat Covers for the PQ

Are there any companies that manufacture boat covers for Powerquests? I think it's time to invest in a nice winter cover for next year rather then doing the shrink wrap thing. Just seems like such a waste of money when you rip it off in the spring time. I may ask a local canvas lady I've used for things in the past to make a custom cover for me, but thought I'd check with you guys first. Thanks

You'll have to get it custom made.

And be prepared to part with some money. Good covers are far from cheap.

Bought one for my 380 Avenger from Carver Industries. I went with the Performance Poly Guard material and price was around $500. Cover fits excellent.

How long ago was that, I'm thinking I should get on as well.

I'm sure I will have to open the savings account just to have one made , but it will be worth it long term. Sinking $400.00 a winter in shrink wrap adds up so I'd rather put that money towards a cover that will "hopefully" last ten years or so. If we did not plan on keeping this boat long term then I would not bother on the cover, but long term; I think it would be a good investment.

Cory H. Thanks for the tip. I will look them up and see what they have to offer.

I bought it in May when I bought the boat. Did not put it on until a couple weeks ago after I winterized and took to storage, as I keep it in a covered slip during the season. Cover fits very well. Only complaint is the drawstring is elastic. I plan to replace it with 1/4" rope and use a "cincher" ratchet. The elastic drawstring makes for a PITA removal and replacement, as you can't roll it up well. Otherwise, fit iand quality is excellent. If faced with the need for another cover, I would buy another from Carver in a heartbeat.

I used Westland for my old boat and it fit like a glove as well. Westland did not have any for Powerquest when I was looking.

If you order from Carver, call them up and ask for what you want (including a discount). Lady helped me with 10% off web prices. Received in 7 days on my door step as promised. Fits good for a relatively generic fit.
