How many 18 did they build I have only seen a few

Don't think that is a skater if so the deck is modified a lot!

I agree. I'm not sure it's a Skater. They did build one, however, and they are fugly: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/g...ater-18-a.html

Yep the 18 was the first of them, the 24 really got things going though. I think that same boat is on ebay now.

This one was listed on Skater's own classifieds. It's sold, but gives a good set of pics to show what the boats were all about

YES, it is a SKATER 18, built by Peter. The 18S was the trick one without a center pod......

I didn't know they went back that far(1978). I almost bought an 18 in high school...I think it was an 83. Had the center sponson and a 200 Merc. I still see a few of these on the CT river.
