Default Anyone calculate their prop slip on a 34/38

I am curious what prop slip others owners are having with the 34' and 38' PQ's. I still need to test some props but if I had some compairable numbers it may help to get a starting point.

Ray - using BAM's auto slip calculator, and a hand-held GarminGPS, I'm seeing 13% on Labbed 28P's. 01 340

Ray, PQ calculated mine when they tested it before doing the bottom. I dont remember exactly but it was up there. I'll have to find a copy of the test results. There is also something to do with bravo 1's and how you rate them, they arent exact, 28's are really 26.5's or something.

Jim, yes the Bravo 1's are rated as a maximum pitch but they are technically a lower average pitch. I was talking to Hydromotive and they rate theirs at a average pitch. Whereas a 28 hydro may have as much as a 30" Maximum. Therefore a 28P Hydro is supposed to turn like a 30" Bravo 1 (Lower RPM's).

So far I have seen 15 - 18% slip but that was at lower speeds, Could be because of the un-modified hull too. I just got back the 28's I had Hydromotive re-work. Now they are the same as a 28P Bravo1 Labbed prop. I think these will be the ticket but I need to run it to see. Thanks for your numbers it will give me something to shoot for.

what I want to know Bill is how did you get THAT many numbers off of that calculator you posted the link to? Too funny Kentz! You set yourself up for that one Bill.

I also calculate 12% with 28P stock Bravo 1's.

Ok, Ok! I just re-read my post, that IS a big number, huh?!

If you go to the link I posted, insert your info, and then copy the slip #. That is what it gave me!

I was at work, so I didn't pay attention to see how many #'s were there. Oh well, no one can give me any S*** be no being precise!
