I just bought a 1996 sunsation 25 foot ,never even herd off these boats till now, I have a 521 dart big block 640 hp to repow the 454 wondering what prop I should try thinking 29 hydromotive 1.50 brovo drive. Like to rev 5500 to 5900 any ideas.I went from 43 scarab with triple 525sc to the sunny was tipy at first but love it now, has 454 mag carb motor with 23 pitch prop needs to be faster any info on the do's and donts be great and info on the boat in general be good to thanks.

I don't know those boats personally, but welcome to the Sunsation family! Curious, what made you drop down in boat size?

They are a blast! Mid 80's and above they can be a handful.

The price of fuel at 1.50 per litre and having to run octane boost as my marina pulled the high test from the pumps to replace with deisle u could use 1600 bucks in couple hrs no problem tired of waisting so much money on fuel ,first time out in the sunny had to check to c if the fuel gage worked lol. Love going fast on the water and this boat is a dream to tow and launch I've really injoyed the couple times I've had it out can't wait till spring, defenetly a drivers boat.

there was a 2001 agressor i inquired about exact quote from the owner was that it runs 82 on gps with a 4 blade bravo 28p @ 5000 rpm, but built to run 5800 rpm. motor made 650/674 on the dyno
