Yes, I believe they are 60 degree angled rearward stantions with the stainless cable.

try calling jo. i know he isnt in the phillipenes since i talked to him today. they might have something down at the shop. are other ones from like a superboat, python or carrera ssm7 from that era the same??

what the purpose of lifeline? I see them on a lot of vintage boats but never knew what they where for

Im no expert by any means but I was told they were there for the occupants to hold onto untill help arrived in a racing crash scenario.

The lifeline was missing on my boat when I got it. I remade it and got all the materials from:

The only thing that I couldn't find that was "original" were the stanchion top caps where the cable feeds through. Other than that, all the holes on the mounts lined up perfectly.

Here's a pic of how it turned out. As I recall it cost in the neighborhood of $250 2 years ago. From your picture it looks like you have three stanchions so you'll be a little more. Good luck.

What a stunning looking boat , the lines are just perfect. The lifeline is to hang on to ,as most boats when they go over will float bow up , very hard to hang on to the body of a slippery wet boat .
