In my opinion the hulls are the only thing that could maybe be used. The condition of those nitro motors is iffy as it appears they have some age. Parts support and availability is probably next to nothing, I may be wrong, but I doubt it. There is a reason he wants to sell it as a lot, my guess is he doesn't want to get stuck with the junk once the few good parts sell. Just my $.02

Neat old stuff but an expensive hobby. I tried to get into back in the '70's on a junior high kid's income and quickly realized I could race real boats (kneel down) cheaper than models. Was an easy decision.
The radios were big bucks then and are the opposite now and I keep thinking........
