Owner has a condo here on Lake of the Ozarks, but resides in TX. The boat stays on LOTO during the summer but has been run a few hours in the Galveston, TX area.

Does it qualify as a 2nd home for IRS purposes? i.e., does it have a micro or cooktop?

You can write the payment off on sales, marketing and business entertainment.

Or, put a company sticker on it and depreciate it as a work vehicle.

if it has a bathroom and a sink it can be considered a second home.

To deduct as second home, it has to have waste, water, and cooking. On this boat, just add a portable cooktop and your good to go!

I thought the IRS was picky about having the waste, water, and cooking built in?

If they aren't that means I can already qualify with my ZXO.
