The boat:
1995 Python Vector
24 x 7 hull, 540 cid N/A engine approx 625 HP
Results from a few different props:
24p Bravo 1: 5700 rpms and pretty stable 77
used prop
25p Mirage+ cut to 14" diameter: 5950 rpms 81.5
prop handles well just not enough pitch
26p Turbo txp: 5550 rpms chine walking bad 84 mph
would slip bad on turns or if any weight was in boat
26p Turbo 1 5600 rpms chine walking 86 mph
2nd favorite prop and fastest, all around good prop, just chine walk problem
25p Rev 4 5700 rpms pretty stable 82.5 mph
The Rev 4 is now my favorite prop of the bunch. It planes faster, has good cruise econ, and boat handles better at high speeds. Even though I lost 3 mph on top end.
my 2 cents, Lee

It's superior a standard Bravo in every way, top speed, acceleration and especially handling!
I'm thinking of getting a labbed one, but need to test a few more things first.

Hi,
Rev4 25 labbed been my best prop. 81-82 mph at 6,500 - 6,600 rpms. Picked up 1,5 mph cutting tube down with 1,2 inch. Phantom 25 with Verado 350 sci. Great cruise too - 49 mph at 4,000, - 62 mph at 5,000 rpm. Milage 4,67 mpg at 4,000 rpm and 5 mpg at 3,500 rpm. Will test TxP this summer
Cheers Toffen

Hi,
The prop was balanced and had extra cup added so it can be surfaced higher. Unfortunately I bought the prop second hand so I have no figures before and after. However, I cut down the exhaust tube with 30 mm last spring - and that translated to 1.5 mph higher speed. Much more bowlift.
Very good prop. Testet a stock Bravo one 26 prop. Much less bowlift. Can be surfaced higher (1,5 inch) before breaking over, but got substantial less speed. 76 mph vs 81 mph.
Cheeers, Toffen
