Wally,
It appears to be a “Fun Cat” or a splash of one. I had (2) of them at different times. They were built first in New Jersey by the Fun Boat Co. The design was a shrunk down 30’ Shadow cat the builder was Larry Wurtsburger. With a 60 Merc. Solid mounts, and zero feed back steering it was good for about 60 mph. I did one with a 75 and it ran about 70. That motor was a little too heavy. These boats were great in rough water; too bad you are not going to finish it. About the gas tank, Most of us who had them added a built in 20 gal. Tank in the rear. I don’t think they were built with any tank. Larry figured the owners would just use a portable one.

Hey guy's the first mini cat was built by Cougar from England when they had there shop on 188 St. in NMB Fl.They were 10' long so they could be shipped by commercial carriers. I cannot remember the year I would say 85 or 86 is when they were building them, long before Larry!!!!!!!!!! Mike Nicholson

The "Cougar Cub" was much smaller, Quite a few guys here had them when they first came out. The larger Fun Cat was much more a boat. J.D. Delia and I rolled his Cougar Cub over one day, We pulled it up on shore, and emptyed the water out like a raft.

There is a Baja "Scat Cat" for sale near by. I stopped to look at it because it looked pretty cool. It only had a 25HP outboard. It is about 10ft long. The construction seemed pretty flimsy though. The deck was paper thin. The bottom looked pretty cool. I was going to call to see what the guy wanted just out of curiousity but didn't want to waste his time.

Wally,
Cool boat, I'd give you what you're asking if you didn't live on the wrong side of the country
It would look cool with a pair of 50 Mercs on the back!
I don't think you should have a problem selling it.
Good Luck,
Caleb
