Default Why OSO Is the best

Over the past year or two I have been over many other forums on the web for many different topics, I have been greeted by many different people, yet OSO seems to have the best. You are all true, fun loving, and just neat people I thoroughly enjoy associating with. I have been on TheHullTruth and I found myself greeted by arrogance and idiots who are more concerned about fishing than a good boat, Head-fi and I am greeted by people who talk like a text book, and a paintball forum I was on searching for guns, was the most hash display of arrogant 12 year olds I have seen in my life . I have learned a lot on OSO and have spent many hours educating myself on the forums, and having good laughs at others, and I would like to thank everyone on OSO for making my online forum experience how great it is today.

I think the reason most people come here is the knowledge, I lurked for years but didn't join until my boat had a big boy motor, even though it's not a big boy boat. That being said, there is a lot of ego's, morons and thief's too, just like any where on the internet and I think we have lost a LOT of valuable posters because of it.

All that said, the list of people who have already done "what you are going to do" is huge, and can really help you out, even if it sometimes comes across as mean spirited (and sometimes honesty hurts). And if that means dealing with an occasional a$$hole, it's worth it.
