I know many people on OSO have taken Tres Martin's performance boat course but has anyone taken Doug Valentine's? Does anyone have a good knowledge of both to compare which is better? Also, are there any other credible courses out there?

I took Tres' course back in 07' down at LOTO and it was a very positive experience and would recommend it to any high performance boater. Tres & Brad have a first class program that not only teaches you what to look out for while operating a high performance boat they give you hand's on instructions that I found very valuable. As for Doug Valentine's course I don't have any knowledge about his program and can't comment one way or another. Jim
