No wonder half my **** is still on after I turn off the switches.
Couldn`t I just put on a manual on/off switch? the Dash toggle is just convenience right
Thanx lil!!

Yes you can replace that solenoid with an on off switch, the dash switch makes it possible to open the hatch when the batteries are all half dead, so if you do install the on off switch mke sure it's not under the hatch!

I would leave it factory setup as it was designed to jump one engine if one battery dies... it saved me last summer when I lost charging in one engine, battery was not charged enough to start it, fired good engine, hit switch and fired the other, still didnt charge but it got it going enough to get me back on 2 engines, I now have a charging jumper wire with a fuse to link the two together for charging if I lose charging ability again on one of the engines...

In my mistress you would have to hold the parallel switch manually to have it on all the time... I would think they are all like that since the reason is to jump the other engine
