Default 37 Warrior Catamarn Info RARE!

Local guy in Michigan is selling a 1999 37 Warrior Cat. I have not seen the boat yet but would like to know some info about it. Searched everywhere and can not find any info. Owner says that Warrior was made in california. Boat is sitting on a Fifth wheel trailer with a platform over the fifthwheel with a crane to lift a Harley up there. Talked to the owner briefly on the phone. He was in the middle of something so waiting on a call back and an appointment to go look at it. I have a friend that has been in the boat around 100mph. Boat does have a nice size cabin. This is all I know so far. Hopefully the power of OSO has more info!

Is the hull Warriors design or based off another hull?

Good in the rough?

Fast or slow?

Thanks.

Thought about that also, since the owner of the Warrior used to have a Warlock. But there is also no info on any Warlock near that size.

I've never heard of them but NADA has- http://www.nadaguides.com/boats/1999/warrior-power-cats

" A custom builder of high performance boats, Warrior Power Cats created vessels powered inboard/outboard motors that includes big block Chevrolet V-8 engines. Manufacturing boats from 1991 to 2002, the lengths of watercrafts produced by Warrior Power Cats ranged between 23 and 37 feet. "

I saw the smaller version in Corona in the late 90's. I believe they were marketed by WPM (the new name) about the time Ultimate had the old Warlock business about 1/2 mile down the street.

The 28' (from memory) was a light layup and normally featured huge power and had some very fast speeds. There was a lot of pride in the new hull with weight and strength key attributes. A hull for the lake/Havasu crowd in my opinion.

Not sure what the bottom was or started as..the molds and glass work were not done in the rigging shop which I frequented.

I believe there were three hull sizes with limited production. (I thought the 28 was the smallest )
There likely weren't too many 37's made...

I still have a Warrior T shirt in my offshore collection

Listed on NADA. I saw one at LOTO about 10 years ago. One of the original OSO scam artists(can't remember his name) had one. Definately had a lot of freeboard and a deep cabin.

My close friend Craig aka Wette Vette on OSO had a 23' WPM Warrior Cat for 8 years. For being a smaller boat it was built very well and was solid....it also had good rigging and alot of attention to detail. The link below is him taking the new owners out last year for their first ride. The boat has a 600" NA engine that he built himself. I do know that WPM also built 28' with twins. I will let him know about this thread and see if he knows anything about the 37'.
