How long has the whipple been on of those 400 hours?

What kind of power does that package put out?

I don't know for sure, but I think the engine has a total of around 800 hours. It was freshly rebuilt when I installed the Whipple. So, it's 400 hours on the Whipple. It's 550 HP. I see you are in McHenry. The engine is in Ingleside, if you'd like to see it.

Yes, this is Everything! I replaced this motor with the Merc Racing 525 tweaked to 600HP. Just as a comparison, the Whipple motor pulled harder than the 525. But I did gain some speed with the 525.

When you put the whipple on did you do any mods to the engine besides the rockers?
Heads?
Cam?
Lower end?

Why is it due for a refresh? What is the issue? or is it just based on the hours?

thanks

It's a stock 502 Mag, stock heads, stock cam, JE pistons, and the already mentioned scorpion roller rockers. Because of the 400 hours I would want a refresh before going another season. I wouldn't feel comfortable sleeping at night without full disclosure.
