I don't know anything more about this, except I think it was this weekend (during the Mavericks surf competition)

Thank you for the link. We have a lot of wind at the Mediteranien Sea and often so large waves i.e. right now during the last days. That is one of the reasons why the light offshore boats are less common here. Even in the marinas the sportboats got damages.
Does somebody know the crew and how did they got out of there?

It's like watching a train wreck. It drops off that second wave and looks like it shuts down. probably because it was like dropping off a 4 story building.
