Default LOTO people......question on rooms/board

How is Captain Rons Buccaneer Bay rentals? Lots of action near and around?

Our other option was the Camden on the lake where ” Skater Fest” is or was told is hosted.

We are younger so noise and parties are more the mary. Just want to get the best out if our first time at the shootout.

Camden On The Lake is your place if you want noise/parties for the Shootout. The Toad is to the left and the rooms are to the right in this pic from the 2011 SOTPR. You will also be closer to Dog Days if you stay at COTL.

Camden is MM # 7 and Rons is MM#34.5 soo it is a little ways away but both places are IMO the hot spots. I just gone the last 3 yrs and travel back and forth between the two. There is just soo much going on that weekend I get over whelmed and cant figure out where to go! Alot on where you stay might depend on how long you are staying. I ve never stayed at either place but get a condo for the week around MM# 20, kinda half way between. Theres SOO many great bars w/ GREAT food everywhere on lake. For the night life, party bar scene on that weekend, Canden is the place to be!! There are more other bars in that area. Rons is alittle off the beatin path on other weekends. Just my opinion though.

Should have included that.

Going up boatless. If I can pay gas or what not and get a ride then that would be the ticket but too soon for that plan. As of right now going to watch the shootout on one if the large decked boats they tender out too for a cost.

Driving up in my truck though so we will be mobile but only on land.
