Hi all I just purchased a early 90's 26" welcraft scarab
It's a great boat but my question is where is the original fuel located in the boat I only ask because this boat has had a pod put on the back with a 225 mercury and where the inbored is there is now a newish 300lt ally fuel tank
The reason I am trying to locate the other thank if there is one when I am doing under 15 knots the ass of the boat sits low in the water I rekon with the rear tank half full and the 225 on a pod sitting 600 mm of the transom there is to much weight in the rear of the boat

26 foot my bad the iphone did it i have done some test holes in the deck from what i can tell the fuel tank takes up most of the floor space under the floor and beteween the forward chairs
does it sound like i have to much fuel tanks space 300lt
i would assume that a 26 foot boat with a 225 mercury outboard on it would need such a large tank my biggest trip so far is 50 miles in total
