Going to be in Florida for a week, in March. Does anyone know of a place who rents 28-32' (cigarette style) power boats? We want to take the relatives for a ride in a boat like ours without having to drag it all the way to Florida.
I know that these type of boats are not usually in the rental fleets due to the experience required to operate it safely. Of course inexperienced operators can be just as dangerous in a 19' Sea Ray

as long as the wind speed is 10-15 and not steady 15+ you are good, the tide is the biggest factor, outgoing bad, incoming good. I doubt you will find any place to rent a boat like that. I also don't think the rental places allow you out of the intracoastal.
