Here is what the SMC is up to today! It just drives me crazy that some SMC member from France, can have a INFLUENCE on USA/Fl. laws and policies!! That is basically what the SMC advocates, having SMC members, WORLDWIDE, flood the FL. and Feds. agencies with E-mail/mail/phone calls demanding more Manatee protections!! Besides all the LAWSUITS that the SMC files, using the same worldwide MEMBER'S dues and financial contributions!

Manatees are seacows. If a land cow walked out on I-95, and got creamed by a semi, would we stop using I-95? F**k no! We would round them up and put them in a safe pasture. Let's round up those ugly, methane farting, ozone layer destroying bastards and put them in the Florida Power and Light canal system where they would LOVE to be. I, too, am a member of SMC, "Screw the Manatee".

I swear, that's EXACTLY one of the points my wife makes. The key word here is "Cow"!! This wouldn't be an issue is the SMC would go away!

The SMC would like for people to E-mail their protest of the reevaluation but nothing is stopping us from e-mailing our support. If everyone could take a few minutes and e-mail Dr. Haudad we could make ourselves be heard on this issue.

Good point, and I have already done that. Besides that is only half the battle, the SMC is pushing the Feds, (USFWS) to install their own "Manatee Zones" regardless of what the FFWCC does!!
