Bought my 1999 26ZX. With no engine and my 509 going in has aluminum heads,intake,exhaust as well so closed cooling is a must. The hatch cover ram is centered and it looks like it might hit the heat exchanger once installed? Does anybody have a similar single engine 26 or 28ZX with a single hatch cover ram and closed cooling? The later model boats all seem to use a dual ram setup mounted on each end of the hatch well out of he way..... TIA.... TBF

How about how the Checkmates , from the transom to the engine hatch in the center.

The checkmates have a single ram as well? If anybody has a Donzi with closed cooling and could give me a measurement from the front of the main heat exchanger to the front of the engine hatch that would be appreciated!
