What are the rubber looking tubes that stick up off of the cavitation plate above the props? looks like black pvc or something, I have seen it mostly on the APBA boys in supercat like Drambuie and DonQ

as i recall they ventialte the props so they can get a better hole shot.

Cool

They are vent tubes. They allow air to enter the water around the
propellers so they spin up faster and get a better start when the COLOR=seagreen]GREEN[/COLOR] flag goes up!
