Default My story.....

I used a new gm HP 502 gen 6 415 hp years ago (2008), next to Merc. the power was close, but it did drop in oil pressure at idle after a hard 4500 rpm run. I didnt pull the long block apart.(upgrade gaskets) I had a warr. issue the next year and GM did give me another block for free. Im sure you can get specs from builders on OSO. 7k for Gm,and 10 plus for a Mercury. I was in a pinch during the season and this was the fast way back on the water.
