Honestly I think they're alittle different the 265 I believe has a bigger windshield. Either XT will chime in he is the Baja expert. You can email him also. Very knowledgeable. If you want I can measure my 240 side glass for you if you'd like.

Default Thanks Mickey

The Taylor Made part number for the 240 Sport windshield is #179684. It was also interchangeable with the 220 Sport. The Baja 265 is a taller windshield that only interchanges with the Baja 235 model. I just got a parts 240 windshield for my 220 this week, and I promised one side wing to another OSO member. What side glass do you need?

XT, I have a 235, and some of the plastic "piping" that covers the channel where the wiring runs has shrunken / broken off. Is this stuff still available? What about the weatherstrip that holds the glass?

How difficult is removal / replacement of these windshields? I would like to take mine apart and have the frame bead blasted and powder coated silver. Never been a big fan of the black - gets hot, and it rubs off where the cockpit cover rubs over it.

Thanks!

Budman,

I would send a small sample of each item to Taylor Made and indicate the length needed.

Thanks XT, I will try that. How hard is it to remove the windshield and disassemble it?

Thanks for the info on that XT I need the port side. It to a shot to the side blew the glass out and bent the top frame piece luckily that's all it came out with for damage.

I bought my 220 Sport with someones clear plexiglass job that looked like crap for the two front panels. The 240 Sport donor boat windshield I purchased is a perfect match to my 220 and as I disassembled the side wings I noticed the glass pattern is the same for both sides and only the frame is different. I need to put together the best set on my project, but I should have good glass for two repairs, but only one set of Port side frames to sell. They are easy to take apart with just a 1/8" drill bit on the rivets.

Sorry it's taken so long I've been real busy but how much would you be looking to get for at least a piece of glass? All I really need for the port side wing is the top track the rest is fine but the top looks like a banana no saving that piece.
