I have a 98 Hammer and I want to get rid of my MTX speakers and pick up some JL to match my 10in JL subs. I'm thinking 6.5s but I don't want to spend $400 and have them be the wrong size and I'd like to get them now. My boat is stored away until April so I can't check them until then.

Here's a pic, I put the mini grill tank next to it when I was out last year and didn't have anything. I wasn't under the impression there are 6,6.5, and 7.7 inch at this time or I would have obviously would have measured it or took it out. My memory sucks

They should be 6.5s. That's what was in the last 2 Bajas I had, and my brother's 25OL.

get the 7.7s and make the hole bigger

I'd get the 7.7s but I'm not sure if the back 2 will fit them. I guess I can get 2 of each

Ya, you can always make the hole bigger.

It's been my experience that no 2 speakers ever are exactly the same size with the same bolt pattern.
