Default Steering Stabilizer F-250

Just installed the Rancho Steering Stabilizer on my 2011 F-250. Wow what a difference. I had significant uneasiness with the "death wobble" when hitting bumps. It has eliminated this but it also gives a much better on center steering feel. I think everyone with and f-250 ought to install this. I really think Ford has a significant flaw with the suspension on the stock truck. Just do it. 159 bucks and a couple hours of work.

loose parts ,trac bar bushings , ball joints , tie rods ends , alignment , caster angle , large tires , have all these things been checked , a damper could just be a bandaid .

On my F250 I have replaced the ball joints, tie rods, the drag link, 4WD seals, and a steering box. When I replaced the steering box for the 2nd time the mechanic told me that my dual steering stabilizer was to stiff and was causing the gear box to work harder than normal, plus I had 37" tall tires on it. I removed 1 stabilizer and never noticed a difference in the steering. I didn't really notice a difference when I had it either though.

I have a 2005 f250sd with 110k miles , I have never had a problem with the woble or tie rod ends or anything else . also in the summer I run big wheels and tires 10 x 20 inch about 36 inchs tall. I have heard of this , just not seen it .

I've seen some YouTube videos showing the bump steer issues with the newer stock Fords on brand new trucks.

I've upgraded to SkyJacker dual stabilizer systems on my Ford F-350 4x4 dually and Dodge 2500 4x4. I also installed a single add-on kit my lowrider 1997 2wd Tahoe (sold). They are great additions especially on trucks with steering components designed with low-effort steering systems.

I run duals on all my superduty's 99, 00, & 08 have not damages a steering pump or gear box yet. Smallest truck has 8" lift with 38's the biggest one has 28" airbag lift running 46" claws no death wobble! I agree a stabilizer can be a " bandaid " for other problems typically loose trac bar bushings but there is really no reprocution from using one so why not.
