Default Congratulations to Nor-tech

We just want to state publicly how happy we are for Trond, Nils, Terry, Scot and the whole crew at Nor-tech.

As we all know, when the recession hit, it was a fatal blow to many builders and a near fatal blow to the rest. We watched our friends at Nor-tech struggle to get by for several years. It was very, very tough for them.

They did not give up. They didn't shift into neutral. They developed new sport boats and center consoles that people would want. Then they started selling again.

We were at the factory a month ago. It was the busiest we've seen it in our 9 model years selling Nor-tech.

The big center consoles are into mid-summer delivery dates on new orders right now. Most people know the center consoles are a big hit for Nor-tech.

What most people don't know right now is that any new sport boat order today comes with a 2014 delivery date. Yes. Sport boat production is sold out until the new year. A big part of the credit for this also must go to Mercury Racing and their QC4V program which has helped revitalize new boat sales.

Miami Boat Show saw several contracts and deposits as well.

Anyway, we just wanted to tell Trond and the crew that we know how hard it was in the recession for them and how happy we are for them. We are also really looking forward to the hardware they will be shipping north this spring. It is a privilege to be part of the team.
