Default ads for fresh water boats

seems like most performance boats advertised, are from NY, NJ'MD or florida, thus being salt water boats. of course some, actually very few seem to be let's say from the great lakes or places in fresh water... Much easier to find salt than fresh water boats...

I'm I missing a popular website where you can find mostly fresh ones?

i think its more population/weather based. lots of peps in the NE and great weather in the SE.

there isnt that large of a following in the SW (assuming LA-San Diego being a large populated area) for ocean going fast boats, except those that do hang out in havasu. Mostly cruisers and sail boats in the salt water.

Try area specific craigslist by big lakes. Havasu, LOTO, Lake George, etc. Many times the seller won't even mention the fresh water part because they are locals that just expect everything for sale is fresh.

MD, DE, PA and NJ can be fresh water boats if they boat on the Chesapeake Bay. Especially the northern end.

I'd also watch Craiglist along the Mississippi River and around the Great Lakes. No salt!

This is a decent site with a lot of freshwater boats... many from LOTO.

I think it's the time of year too, your probably not advertising your boat if it's shrink wrapped in a barn under 2' of snow

Do a Boattrader online search for the midwest.

I wouldn't necessarily rule out a boat just because it's a salt water boat. In some cases some salt water boats are kept better than fresh water. More of a case by case. Good luck on your search.
