Sorry Trace, I am at work trying to get some stuff done so that I can get ready to go out on the Mississippi River for a few days.

Have fun, suppose to be real HOT.

Tracy-right now I'm about 1/4 mile from Mickinley at the office (12:45). Supposed to be working. Yea right, on a Sunday too. I'd drive down there but the stinkin' truck won't start.

Intolerant1, the river thru Milwaukee is pretty nice for a while. You can go up a long ways, but all the fun is in the first mile-mile and a half. Some great places to eat right on the water, and there are even a few places to tie up for free while you eat. We used to do a crossing every year and stay at the MYC, but haven't done it in 2 years now. The McKinnley marina sucks in my opinion. Really tall docks, lots of slivers, old, old, old. That's why we stay at the Yacht Club (buddy has reciprical use there from his yacht club here in Michigan).

Consintracy;
Maybe you can give me a few tips on some hot spots over there. A few of us are looking to go from Ludington, MI to either Milwaukee or Sheboygan, WI. the second weekend of Aug. Do you know of any fesivials going on? Is it hard to get a slip at either spot? Thanks

What do you mean, we have really tall docks? Why last decade when the water was so high, we actually raised them! Of course if they had been smart they would have put in floating docks.

Default flylevel, you get another boat?

Mike,
Try Sturgeon Bay, it's only 46 miles from frankfort, we're gonna go back there on labor day, and maybe over to Green Bay, Washington Island looks pretty cool too.
