Come join the NIOC Lake Winnebago Thunderun Fun Run June 14th-16th. Father's Day weekend. This is a free fun run. The Oshkosh Premier Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center will be open after having spent $6 million on renovations. There is a outdoor bar and a new boardwalk on the river front of the hotel. The city will be putting in 5 docks. We will gather at 10:30 Saturday morning at the hotel waterfront for the Thunderun on Lake Winnebago.

Are there some boats coming up for this event? Also two weeks later is the Poker on the Fox event. If you are still coming for the 14 to 16 I will probably come and join in.

Any more info in it Brad? I may tow up or just take the drive. Not sure if I want to put my 7th month old sun through a fun run quit yet.... It would be his first time out....

Do you have any further info on this? Destinations? Or is this more of a go hangout at places like Stretches, Bars ETC? Looked on NIOC website and didn't find anything yet. Not sure I can make it anyways though.

Correct...this is a very informal run. We thought if some people wanted to meet up there and hang out it would be fun.

Cool thanks for responding. At this point I think I'll bring the kids and kind of tag along. We typically go to Pipe and climb the tower then hangout at Stretches south or Oshkosh anyways. Any idea how many people are coming up? Wish I could make a meeting someday.
