Default Dry tails done align with the transom

I am looking at a set if tails that aren't going to line up with the exit holes. I have heard there a wedges I could use, but I may cut them and re do them to fit. Do the wedges work or are they more of a pain then there worth?

I'm getting them at a decent price and I figure with all the material there I could make something work if wedges aren't worth messing with.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

How far are they off by? I had a set of wedges on the exhaust I put in my Baja. They dropped the tailpipes about 2". I had studs in the manifolds which made it kind of tough to get everything to seal, I had to use hi temp silicone but once they sealed up they worked fine. Randy
