Looking for a mechanic to do a side job, need gimbal bearings pulled and new ones installed. I dont want to buy the tools to do it. I have the legs off already. Any takers let me know, thanks.

I guess I should clarify a little. I am looking for a mechanic that does side work and will do it at my place. I have the motors torn down to shortblocks, so there is stuff all over the bilge area, and I dont want to have to worry about all sorts of dust and dirt getting in during trailering. Also the outdrives are off and the trim rams have nowhere to attach to so they are just laying against the transom.
Thanks again guys.

I hear you about trying to get a better deal however it's worth talking to Aaron. He has worked on several of my boats over the years and I always recommend his service.

I hear what you are saying but I am not sure you would be happy with a "side job" deal. It could take longer than you think, if there are problems is he going to stand by his work... because it was on the side. There are some good mechanics up in havasu that work out of shops and are very reasonable. I have used 4 or 5 and found a guy that is soooo anal and clean. Very reasonable. Leak down, sea pump, plugs, cap ,rotor, pulled the drive realighed motor, bunch trailer work, fabed some brackets, some other misc stuff for 1,200.00. Guys name is Tom Peterson, he was refereed to me by GT performance marine.
