Default Advice needed, Baja 29 outlaw Props.

Hello All.
Am new to this site but am sure some of you can help.
Baja 29 outlaw running Twin 350 mag mpi. (300hp each)
I am only getting 4100 Rpm with current props.

24 Bravo 1 4000 Rpm, really fast off mark no cavitation really happy but 60 Gps

25 mirarge had 4100 63mph gps very slow off mark and lots of cavitation.

I need engines to rev to 5200 there not as you can see. I have had engines plugged in and they have only been to +5200 for 3 mins must be when jumping.
I was thinking buy a set of bravo 1 22 pitch but want some advice before i buy another set of props.
What do you all think.
Thank you.

If I remember correctly (brain is a lil foggy from back then) the small block boats had Mirage 3 blades with 21's on them. Your operating range should be 46-4800 with those motors if stock... What year is it? Post 454 they went to a 6.2 small block....

The 350 MAG MPI used to be listed at 4,600 - 5,000 RPM but at some point Merc upped that to 4,800 - 5,200 RPM. Not sure what year they made the change. I had a 2000 350 MAG and it was max 5,000 RPM.

really that small? I think I would get a lot of spin or cavitation thoush as there only 3 blades. when the 25 mirarges were on it would take a wile to get up on the plane and also if i backed off and put throttles down again it just reved up.
I was on the mercury prop calculater last night. it also came up with mirages and rev 4 and Vensura
about the 19-21 mark.
Anyone used Vesura props before? Any good??

No, you won't have a lot of spin with the lower pitch 3-blade...the reason the 25s took so long to plane is because you were WAY over-propped...my 29 with twin 454s (330hp) would be slightly over propped with 25s...my previous boat was a older 30 scarab and was over-propped when I bought it....I put a set of 19 pitch Rev-4 props on it and it was way better...I would think these would probably work well for your boat too....the the mirage prop might be a touch faster though...

Call Brett at BBlades and he can steer you in the right direction. He also has a prop test program. He frequents the Prop Talk forum so you could also post your questions there.
