Aircraft Gel coat sealent

There are 2 differnt local guys that are known for sealing a boat.
They strip the wax, buff, then seal the boat with this stuff. makes it look great. for years.... seen some boats that have had it for 5-6 years and still looks pretty good, they recoment a touch up every 1-2 years. LOTS of boateers i know have used the guy with great results. Spider poo just washes off, river stain wipes off, and give ti a wet look all the time.
Just curious if any of you know anything about this kind of product. Its not Polyglow.

I've had a few run ins with similar products in my years of detailing. Most of the time when the finish degrades, it takes days to remove and looks like hell. I would find out exactly what it is before doing it and how to remove it if necessary(repairs). I did an 40+ foot RV with a coating on it and the price for a correction nearly tripled due to the removal. The owner had the coating reapplied instead much to his displeasure.
