just wondering what kinda cost it take to run class 5 or 6 with no breaks per season and an does any one work a full time job where there not there own boss where they limit how they take off ect.

Look at the schedule. Pick what races you would go to. Figure the miles, add up the fuel, figure tolls. Figure how many nights in hotels, check hotel prices in the race sites. Figure out how many people and how much and where you are going to eat (McDonalds/Applebees/Outback?).

Figure out much fuel you will use race weekend. Races usually 35 miles or so. Don't forget testing.

Figure maintenance costs. Oil/fuel filters, oil, other consumables.

Everyone's expenses differ, based on what they tow with, how they eat, where they sleep.

Once you have the boat and nothing breaks (HA) the travel expenses are the biggie.

Almost imposable to come up with a real number but I will tell you its a $hit ton of fun and if you can swing it give it a shot. great group of NUTZ and every one is here to help.
