In town for the weekend. Anybody going to be around Newport this weekend? Will be in Newport on Saturday for the parade. Hanging out at O'Briens Pub. Anybody going to be around?

Normally I'm there with most of the department marching in the parade, but closing on my house in a couple weeks. Several hundred in cover charges and alcohol doesn't fit the budget!

Newport sounds like it would be a good time for St Patty's, how was it?

I hear ya...planning a wedding myself so trying to cut back on the "going out". I handle that by stocking up on 30 packs of Bud Light and having a night in. Kind of funny when you think about it...I'm cutting back on going out so that I can save some $ all so that I can pay for my friends to drink for free... hmmm, I need to re-think this...

That was my reason for not going last year, next year prob gonna be cuz I have to redo my whole interior
