Systems One, make a nice billet, oil filter now replacing the older style that was cast and wedge shaped. The old one was not made for the abuse of being horizontally mounted. I have dumped using the Wix filters, if my clients are willing to spend the $ for the System One. It can be ordered with or without a by-pass. I am not a believer in the by-pass due to the up and down delta pressures from RPM changes in a performance marine application. That pressure difference will allow the by-pass to open.
