Default Valve check????

I have a 509c.i engine with a 2.3 whipple and hydraulic roller cam. I have about 30-35 hours on my new engine in 2 seasons and she runs great. My question is do I need to check my valves or wait longer? I'm not sure how long they recommend between valve checks. Thanks casey

There is no reason to check them with 30 hours unless you are hearing some noise or suspect something is wrong. Other than that, let em be.

It depemds on how hard you run it. Usually on blower engines 50 hours is a good number to do a compression check. If your talking about valve lash you shouldnt need to do that.
