Default Will CMI's fit in a 280 sport???

I've got a 1988 that I'm putting a pair of 525sc replicas in and I tried 2000 HP500 exhaust and it won't fit, does anyone know if CMI headers off 2002 500efi's will fit??

yes, cmi's need 33 1/2" crank to crank spacing. gil's need 35. I believe the stock merc parts need 33 1/2 - 34"

You'll be fine with E-Tops. I had a 280 Sport new yrs back put Gil's it with no issues.

That ought to rip pretty well with 525's!!! Wanted them bad for mine back in the day.
