Default Atlantic Marinas Resort on the Patapsco

Wondered if anyone was familiar with this marina?

Specifically looking at , high/dry storage.

Location, safety, pro/cons, etc. Looking for any and all feedback.

We figured drive wise from Reston, puts us right in the middle of boating destinations with avoiding the Friday/Sat traffic rush that would be going out 50 towards the beach.

Thanks.

Sorry, can't help you with that place but if you're looking in that area check out Pleasure Cove. http://www.pleasurecovemarina.com/home/ I've known Jerry the owner for years and he gets the whole high performance thing and has had some awesome boats. They have a great restaurant there and the service is top notch. They are also a big supporter of our club for years.

Also if you are thinking of the drive look around Edgewater, Md. Good marinas and you gt off 50 before it backs up. PM me your number if you have any questions and I'd be happy to help.

Atlantic marina is o/k. Have 3 friends that have been there for years. 2 fork lifts and pool. No long idle to open water. No food, but lots close. and only 89 octane fuel. Long ride from you, may look at edgewater.

what Ted said... a lot of us in Edgewater, plenty of great boating, dock bars raft up coves etc... My office is right at the mixing bowl in Springfield, 50 minutes to get home, don't hit rt 50, get off beltway on 214, 19 miles to the Marinas. Check out Turkey Point Island, or South River area, lots of marinas etc..

Going to be doing a little recon via car this weekend and check out the Pleasure Cove facilities and wife wants to sample the dinning options Location wise for boat home base looks good between Annapolis, Baltimore, and close enough to cruise up to NE and Chesapeake City for the day/night to hang with the crew up there as well.
