Default Desert Storm PR-anyone know the stops

Going to Havasu for some fun and see the street party, but with out a boat, would like to see some hardware in the water, thought maybe hang-out at a check point or near a straight away run in-between.
Any help with a good location or a ride would be nice, can you say gas money-LOL.

Thanks for any help,Randy

DS headquarters is at the Nautical Resort. Always lots to see there and maybe a good place to bum a ride. Take a look at the lake on Goggle Earth to get a good idea of the lake and some places on land to watch boats go by.

Friday AM plan to be in the Channel for the parade before the start of the poker run.

You will see plenty at the Street party. And the whole week is a lot of fun. When do you come into town?

DS is not great for seeing boats on the water if you don't have one.

You can walk The Channel or drive to The Nautical and walk around and see all the beached boats. You'll see major hardware there in the evening.

I usually get a room at the London bridge because they have slips so you don't have to haul your boat out every night and there will be some stuff there.

I've never been to Havasu Springs by car and don't even know how to get there but if you can make it for the Friday lunch run you'll see some stuff. There may be spots along the 95 where you can pull over and see boats going by.

I would look into renting a boat or even PWCs just so you can get out on the water. There will be a ton of boats just hanging out that aren't entered into in poker run. Thompsons Bay will be like a parking lot before the run starts as a lot of people like to watch them take off.

A lot of people will run down river and anchor in spots to watch them run by.

Maybe if you post on river dave's that you are looking for a ride in exchange for gas $ (lots!), food and drink you could catch a ride. Good luck and have fun!
