Fascinating news—a first-time confirmation from the source that Gary Stray has designed and will build the next generation of Miss GEICO, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...iss-geico.html.

...and I'm curious as to what other carbon fibre and resins they'll be using:
“new processes, resins and carbons that are not available in this country,” but in Germany.

The new composite technologies are state of the art patented processes. The yield is an immensely strong fast layup, beautiful components (all we have done at this point). The first component I had my hands on I laughed and commented that there is no way this has the strength to last.
I'll leave you with this thought. "You don't know what you don't know" . So far ahead of my knowledge base and comprehension on strength.
As for Gary's design experience consider this. When Talking with Michael Peters at the last OFF event he quoted that Stray is one of the very very short list of engineers in the world that truly understands hull design and implementation, especially his (MP). The future Miss Geico is beyond anything that you have seen or even can imagine as a boat. It's that mind blowing.
