Default Fillers and fairing

I have several spots above and below the waterline what products do yall recommend for each and up to what thicknesses can they fill or fair?

Also I mixed up a gel cabosil mix and that stuff was wonderful to work with and seems pretty tough... how thick can it 'fill' and what repairs should be made with that. Also what name brand product is that equivalent to?

Really depends on what you are filling. I've done the gel/cabosil thing but it affects the color quite a bit and that in turn will affect UV protection but you can fill in a pretty good ding with it. I like 3M's premium marine for stuff up to about a quarter inch beyond that get the grinder out with a disc or ball end mill and spray the color. You can also use raw gel up to about an eight inch but color must be right on the money.

Cabosil is fumed silica basically the same stuff use to thicken toothpaste and other stuff
