I search Offshore Only regularly for folks posting events, gatherings, fun runs, etc. and rarely see anyone from our neck of the woods. I would love to get together a power boat club for people like myself who get out regularly and raft up, go to our local bars, just whatever. If any guys/gals from the Kentucky Lake area would be interested in kicking around some ideas I'm open to suggestions. I'm going to talk to some other go-fast guys and try to generate some interest in this thing. Hopefully, we'll get something going this summer, meet some new people, and have more fun on the water. We get out on Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley, Mississippi River, Ohio River Anywhere in West KY

several of us talking about a fat daddys lunch run on june 8th

Some friends and I went down to Kentucky Lk last Labor Day weekend. Hurricane Isaac brought sporadic rain and high winds. The lake got pretty rough. We all agreed we want to go back this summer. I've been searching OSO too, hoping to come down for some kind of fun run / poker runs.

Looks like there are only 5 members in the WKPA club, and there has not been a posting since 2005.

I'd be interested in hearing about powerboating activities in Western Kentucky area and meeting some new people.

I do most of my boating on the Mississippi as its close to home in STL but my Dad has a place on Kentucky Lake and we get down as often as possible. We hope to be down for Memorial Day and would enjoy meeting some new people.
