Default Best Aluminum cylinder head SBC 383.

My sportsman 2 iron heads are getting tired and leaking oil out of the front exhaust bolt hole so I've decided to replace it before this up coming boating season.

What's the best Aluminum head taking everything into consideration. Price, flow, performance.

I like the Dart 200CC and the Edelbrock Performer RPM 185.

Thoughts

383, Performer RPM intake, Holley 750 carb.

I agree. AFR all the way. I run the older 190cc heads on my 385ci with a marine kinetics hyd roller. Great setup. Go with the 195s or 210s depending on your combo.

Has anybody tried any of the Pro-Filer options? They seem to be getting some very good press and run well with the AFR offerings. I also like the fact they are american made and seem to have plenty of meat for porting.

+4 AFR. Dittos for Bob as well. I run the 210s on my 413 and Bob has cut my last 2 cams. Definitely give him a call.

I am a fan of AFRs have them on my Mustang. I also put RHS pro-actions on my sbc's in my boat, I am very pleased with those as well.

Just a +1 for Bob, I'm running modified Vortecs so that doesn't count!

Another +++ for Madara. I bought afr's, 195
milled to 70 cc from Bob. Able to get the #s
you're looking for in a 385.
