Mostly through Jason Johnson's efforts, speedonthewater.com has been following the evolution of this new model since early 2012. It actually doesn't seem that long, but I looked back at the related stories and they go all the way back.

Good things take time. Congratulations to all.

The prototype had Night Vision that tied into the GPS which was really cool.

Any shots of the bottom of hull to show the "tunnel"? Curious what randy came up with

If you're familiar with the Michael Peters stepped hull with a tunnel it looks very similar. From my understanding the tunnel extends the length of both steps rather than just the aft one as on the Peters hull.

There are plenty of pictures of the Peters hull if you do a Google search, and you can find the patent applications for both if you Google for them.

Default MTI V Bottom

Here's a cropped rear view from the red V...
You can see the small tunnel in the center of the boat.
The corners are kept very sharp, thus the handling/tracking of this boat is incredible.
There is also very little leaning into corners as compared to other boats in this category.

As for the Civic wing.... We are happy to modify the design for our clients... (and I think the wing is on back order from Honda right now)
