The owner is on OSO and had uploaded some videos of him running it on a lake. He said it runs 135mph. If you search it is on here somewhere.
The only thing I wonder about is with 1075's it must be pretty darn heavy to only be running 135mph unless he has it propped for all around performance.
Danger Zone which is basically the same boat (I think) but with a sliding canopy ran 145 to 150 with Potter 1150's.
I think the only thing that was holding back a sale was the price since the red 44 Roadster called XXX in Florida (Fastboats had it I think) recently sold cheap. Approx $210k
This one is the cleanest and nicest on here if you want all around performance with a porta potti and some comforts. That is what I want also. I love Skater and DCB but no place for a cuddy. The 3600 even had a bed and seating underneath. The owner did not opt for that on this one. Just the bathroom.
Just my .02....
My favorite as you can tell.
Good luck!!

The owners name is Dan Peck. I think he has it on consigment there. Not positive though.

I have talked to Dan Peck about the boat and seen the videos. I am a powersports (mostly motorcycles) dealer in the central US and have access to a lot of value information, would consider myself a value freak. This boat is the best value out there right now if it is all its cracked up to be in the pics and from Dan. (I haven't seen the boat in person obviously) I passed on the boat only because it was just too big, I have a 45' storage facility, a 40' slip, lift, etc. If I didn't have to change all of that I would by the boat on value alone. Dan seemed like a straight up guy who maintains his equipment.

Just to clear a few things up...the XXX boat in Florida was a 43 Supercat canopy boat that had a new deck/top put on it. So old bottom etc.
My boat runs 130's as propped at 70% throttle and about 5lbs less than max boost. It's propped for big water Lake Michigan etc. There are reports of the 4400 Roadster with 1075's doing 150.
The boat is an absolute show stopper and looks 10X better in person vs. the pictures. We are working a deal on it right now and should know next week.
Thanks for the kudos Barry, I appreciate it!!!

To our surprise and delight, Trond called us with his initial test results on our first 43 and said "I got 150!"
The difference was that the engines were generation 2 1075's. That boat eventually ran 153mph with a 1.35 gear and 38 Herings.
The next 1075 43 we built ran 149mph as did our yellow 44 roadster, both with later generation 1075's.
As far as how fast ZRX's boat will go if set up for a number, it depends on the engines. The boat originally had Nor-tech motors. I don't know if the boat has done a speed run since the rerig. I also can't say if the motors would compare to a generation one or later generation 1075 as they are converted 850's.
I can tell you his hull has more than 140mph in it with anything past gen 1 1075's though.

That's interesting, why the difference in speed between the generation 1 and generation 2 1075s? Did the 43s have a different bottom than 44? Was there more than one version of the 44 bottom?
I have to say that 150 on 1075s is impressive considering how big these boats are. I'm guessing they can handle big water.

Raymond and Trond developed a wedge for the back of the 43 tunnel that went into the 44's and was retrofitted into some of the 43's.
As far as rough water goes, they are amazing.
