Looking for a good insurance company to quote 34' sport open nor tech with triple 300 mercury's. I am experienced boater with over 30 years experience. Looking for adequate coverage that is rated a or a+.

I have had 13 boats in my life from high performance, center console, to cruisers. I boat exclusively on the Great Lakes and may to a few poker runs at 1-2 inland lakes. Not interested in ocean boating at this time in my life.

Will be lift stored at Lake Erie behind my house and dry heated storage over winter.

Boat and trailer value 280k. Please feel free to help me or recommend someone in the right direction. I have had one claim in my life in hosting and it was last year with a 4500 out drive lower unit.

I sent the quote along with a copy of the $50,000 personal accident endorsement(AN INDUSTRY EXCLUSIVE) and the $1,000,000 pollution coverage.I told you that policy is from the same insurance company that paid your 2012 outdrive claim.

I appreciate all the info so far guys. It's funny how you can have multiply boats for 20+ years and have one claim and they want to whack you with a premium for a 4500 claim? Oh well the joys of having a hole that floats you throw money in. The problem is that money is much harder to come by. So, every little bit helps.

Sy, the boat that I had a claim was on pursuit that was insurance through Boat US? Actually went well... Had replacement cost value with a $1000.00 deductible.

The premium will DECREASE 5% per year for the first 2 no claim policy renewals.
