Spent a wonderful day on the water yesterday with a bunch of nice folks in Dunedin. I was invited up by Priscilla and Nick Buis of Statement Marine.

Priscilla is a member of a group of amazing folks who happen to be boaters. 21 boats delivered families of, and special needs children over to Caladesi Island State Park for a boat ride and a day at the beach.

It was an impressively organized day- everything went smooth as clockwork, and the perfect weather made for some great memories.

Two busloads of kids and their families arrived at the Dunedin Marina,
where a fleet and volunteers were ready and waiting.

Each family had an assigned boat.

A short idle, less than a mile or so running on plane and into the park...

Caladesi is a fantastic spot.
The marina was full by mid afternoon.

The marina and park are on one side, the walkway takes you to the beach...

There were a lot of volunteers who seemed like they had been doing this for a while.
The whole thing ran seamlessly.

I had a wonderful day with some nice folks in a beautiful area.
There were dolphins everywhere.

This guy needs a faster boat.
