Rebuilding Gen V 540's. Used studs instead of bolts on the heads. Now the headers are hitting the studs and can't be installed. Am I better off grinding the tops of the studs or grinding the headers?

That is probably the easiest solution - probably what I am going to do if I run studs with mine. There is a site called Allen's Fasteners that sells the individual ARP studs for a good price (around $4 each) where you might be able to pick up some shorter ones.

Allen's is where i got my studs from. Don't know if you could get them much shorter. They are like an 1/8 off but only on a couple. As long as it is ok to grind them i will go that route.
